Duh moment while working on a spouse web service account: security questions are trivially easy for spouses to hack. So they are huge back door for spouse abuse. Could this be legal basis of getting rid of those idiotic things? #b

I think AT&T unlocked my 5s when it was only 1 year into its contract. Happened because I was confused about termination date and tried an unlock. I wonder if it was side-effect of the mobileshare promo that meant we pay out-of-contract device rate.

iOS 8.1: If one disables podcast sync in both iTunes 12 and Podcast.app 8.1 we get something like podcasts of old. Relatively tolerable.

I think the 7.x to 8.1 update switched daughter phone from itunes to iCloud backup. Found out when she ran out of space. Big may be related to parental restrictions on account changes.

Mac crashes overnight. On restart it brings up AirPort utility, with a warning for “allow setup over WAN”. Which is enabled. Except I don’t remember enabling that, and I’d never want it enabled. Now donning tinfoil hat. Twilight zone music …
