Weird how long TMP/SMX (“Bactrim”) has been effective. Indications seem to keep growing. Found a 1968 article on use for typhoid [www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov], but not used for that now. Really deserves some commentary.

… Manu’s 2011 MSFT org chart [www.bonkersworld.net] is now Apple’s. I’m a hardened customer, but working through authentication on my son’s iPhone/Mac .me/.icloud/appleID accounts surprised me. It takes a dysfunctional publicly traded company to screwup this much.

Just fixed #2’s iCloud authentication. I think. Between me/icloud, changing pw requirements, no centralized authentication, obscure/conflicting risk rules -> Apple security is now FUBAR.

If testing iOS 9.2, can you test if settings Settings:General:Restrictions:Cellular Data Use:Don’t Allow Changes prevents changes to Cellular:Use Cellular Data For? You have to enable Restrictions. In 9.1 does nothing. Report if broken? //@clarkgoble

I have 30% suspicion audiobooks playback position sync is being exchanged not by the device “iCloud” account but rather by the “iTunes” account. Can’t prove it yet, sync is also intermittent/flaky. Of course can only see if iCloud != iTunes.

Emily couldn’t silence audio on her Air. Took me second to realize was coming from external display; Mac sound output defaults displayport (dp->hdmi) and controls are then per display. Switched to local. Funny one.
