Not just Apple of course. Thinking about trainwreck of Aperture’s End. Apple’s strategic data lock means I am losing much of value to me. 

Personal data. Memories. More valuable than many physical possessions. 

If Apple came into my home and trashed it they would be liable. 

One day will we treat personal digital goods as legally equivalent? Might Apple then be liable?

I like the idea of Data Lock as a crime.
