Realized that since gDoc “files” are just pointers to documents, that when I want to represent a gDoc in a Finder Folder I should copy the gDoc rather than create a shortcut. Outside of gDrive deleting gDoc is harmless. Long time to figure this.

Explaining to #2 (spectrum) why he might be vulnerable to online “groomer”: has your interests and *doesn’t disagree with you*. He admitted that might do it. He finds disagreement very painful. Not rare on spectrum.

IFTTT is discontinuing support for App.net, BuzzFeed, Etsy, Yammer and a few others on March 23. Two weeks isn’t a lot of warning, but of course I don’t pay for IFTTT. (Wonder how long they’ve got left.)

This is a HARD one. When did “capitalizing” (revenues now, but expenses accounted in future) start in manufacturing and why? When and how did it get applied to software. I think was 1970s. Can’t find anything online.

@clarkgoble To your point about Appalachian “democrats” voting Trump, saw another profile to T voters that fits. They are non-college whites who usually vote GOP but don’t have strong party identification. They like government actions that benefit them.

Yosemite SMB doesn’t support sparsebundle mounting. So annoying. Realized if I turn off SMB support OS X will mount as afp. Such an easy fix.
